Of course once you purchase your beautiful floral arrangement from Noosa House Of Flowers, it's imperative that    you store them in a way that keeps them fresh as a daisy' for as long as possible!

Here are some tips and tricks top florists use to get longevity out of their fresh flowers and greenery.

   
1. Firstly make sure you put your flowers in a large, clean vase or container. Give your flowers some room to breath and they'll thank you by lasting        longer. And of course we have a huge range of stunning receptacles for sale right here at Noosa Village.
   
2. Use hot water(not boiling though) and then let the water cool for a few hours before placing flowers in the vase. The hot water molecules move faster        through the stems, while the flowers lose less moisture because the air is cool. This process is referred to as hardening' and will extend the        life of your bouquets(as well as making you feel quite smug, because it's all very scientific).

   
3. It is a good idea to use the packet of Flower Preservative that comes free with your flowers, however you can always try making your own. It's really        very simple - just mix one part lemonade to three parts water and a few drops(no more) of bleach. Make sure you change the water every day for        the optimum result.
   
4. Lastly, keep your arrangements away from heaters, air conditioners and out of the direct sunlight. Your breathtaking botanicals will thank you by hanging        around longer and brightening up your day!
