There are plenty of other ways you can support Cancer Council Queensland this Daffodil Day! Whether you volunteer, donate or set up your own fundraiser, all funds will go straight to our life-saving research, prevention and support services for Queenslanders impacted by cancer. 

Each year, more than 32,000 Queenslanders are diagnosed with cancer. This Daffodil Day, we need your help to make sure that no Queenslander navigates cancer alone.

In 2022, your donations made an impact:

• 1,700 hours of free counselling were provided to those affected by cancer
• 3,537 guests stayed at our free accommodation during treatment
• 2,200 wigs and turbans were provided and fitted for those experiencing hair loss
• 181,000 km of transport services including lifts to and from treatment were provided

You also helped us improve the outlook for future generations:

• 395 marquees were gifted to protect Queensland children from harmful UV rays
• $8.52 million in cancer research funding was raised
