Noosa Village and owners Fort Street Real Estate are at the forefront of environmentally friendly retail solutions. In fact, we have just installed a 250kW rooftop solar power system. This equates to 336 tonnes of CO2 removed from the atmosphere, or the equivalent of 122 cars being taken of the road each year. That's enough to power almost 70 homes.

Fort Street Real Estate are so committed to sustainable practices that they are planning to roll out similar projects in conjunction with Energy Aware across other retail centres right around the country.

Energy Aware's project manager Mack Thomas is proud of his company's contribution to this fast growing and important industry. Mack provides a tailored approach to his clients, over 6,000 and growing, that helps guide each and every one to a more sustainable future.

“Our company was founded in 2009,” Mack says, “and is comprised of an innovative group of professionals who are very excited by the economic and environmental opportunities associated with the transition to clean technology.”

Mack has also assured us that the solar panels are extremely durable and have been installed by CEC accredited electricians.
